I received this book and was interested to read it. I love to read new books by new authors, especially about my faith. When I read the title, “How Well do You Know Jesus?” I think I made some incorrect assumptions about the book. I was not really on the same thought level as the author, I soon found out. He began by talking about Christ Consciousness, in which the soul is transformed to the “Highest Consciousness”, which immediately made me think of religions such as Scientology. I didn’t realize that the book was more about making yourself a god than anything else… in fact, the author basically says anyone can reach the level of Jesus Christ if they are willing to learn more about the concept and work towards it. This is exactly the opposite of what I believe as a Christian. Also, the author talks about the Lemurians nurturing their Christ Consciousness. Really?? Lemurians haven’t even been proven scientifically, so how does one go about finding out that they were able to know and nurture Christ Consciousness?? I will be honest, after about chapter three I had to stop reading the book. It was going against everything I believe and seemed too outlandish for me to continue. In my own opinion, there are some concepts that work for me and some others that don’t or not completely. Anyway, this is an interesting topic which has its own motivational and spiritual way after all. As being consciousness about you and others is always important as it is part of our essence, so I've decided to present some of the concepts contained on this book for your own review
This book, “How Well Do You know Jesus?”, written by Pastor Gene Martin, focus on the concept of Christ Consciousness. According to the author, many people have the spiritual questions about the Christ Consciousness and about who is Christ. Jesus Christ is considered as the historic figure that is known to the aspects of Christianity religion. Christ is an English term for Khritos, a Greek term that mean “the anointed one”. In Hebrew language, it is known as the Messiah. Furthermore, the author said that Christ Consciousness or Christ doesn’t belong to any particular religious orientation or sect.
On this book, the author defines the meaning of Christ Consciousness as the state of being in which the soul is transformed and awakened to the Highest Consciousness. Before having the state of mind, awakening and transformation is a long process. The Key to transform is to learn and grow by being aware or by keeping in mind awareness. Awareness begins in an inspired mind that is always open for new wisdom and knowledge.
Also, you will read about how the Christ Consciousness is linked to religious beliefs and how people can become Christ Conscious. You will read about the history of Christ Consciousness and the concept of oneness, also you will read about the benefits of meditation for Christ Consciousness.

This is a fantastic book. I really enjoyed reading it. It raises a lot of questions I now want to understand. It was easy to download onto my app on my IPAd.

I had a very difficult time reading this book. I've started it and come back to it several times just trying to finish. I hate leaving negative reviews but honesty is the reason we leave these reviews. The content was okay but the writing was extremely hard to follow. Sentence structure was 'off' and grammatical errors were evident. I like the general idea of the book. I am a devoted Christian and always strive to be more Christ Conscious. Although I do not agree with some of the content in this book, I can be open minded when reviewing books. I made it through the book but didn't take much from it. I appreciate the effort of the author.

When I first saw the title of this book I was intrigued. After reading the foreward, I was just confused. Grammatical errors aside, this text straddles the line between fact and fiction. I can only assume the author had good intentions in writing this book, but they get lost in the linkages of Jesus to long forgotten myths like Atalntis and other fictional civilizations. "The teaching or message of Christ Consciousness existed a very long time ago. The very 1st civilization on the planet Earth to know and nurture Christ Consciousness is the Lemurians. They are the people who once lived in the Pacific Ocean’s lost continent." passages like this are spread throughout the text and remove all legitimacy from the authors argument. If you have a dollar and really want to read something, look elsewhere. This product was received as part of a promotion.
I purchased this book from , through cloud reader. I imediately was able to read my book. As I began to read the content , I was happy that I chose this particular book. As a Christian of 42 years, I sometimes feel like I need a refresher course, on the basics of Christianity. I found what i was needing for this fresh look at old beginnings. This book reminded me of the importance of being Christ concience. Having the right tools in being aware of my responsiblities as a Christian, as to also being a child of God. Often times , life can throw us big curves , and even jolts .Upon reading this material, ,I have been enlightened of my own faith , as to the concepts in being in prayer constantly. Adding to being Christ concience. As I read to the end, I was also reminded of the reading of my Bible , and how important it is to the path of knowing God, and having a strong prayer life. Good reading. I was happy to be a part of reviewing this product for free .
